King Edward Hotel The historic King Edward Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Banff, right on Banff Ave. and Caribou St Review - "My friend and I stayed in the King Edward for one night while visiting a friend in Banff. We chose the King Eddie due to it's location right on Banff Avenue, and the very reasonable price. We chose to share a room with one queen bed. The rooms are quite small, allowing for just enough space for the bed, a dresser, and a small table. Nothing spectacular, but it was very clean and our windows looked directly over the main streets of Banff. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but I couldn't complain. Service was friendly, though our only contact with the hotel staff was for checking in and checking out, so I didn't have much contact with them. It is a little noisy due to being on the main street, but it's also conveniently located above many restaurants and one of the popular clubs Hoodoo. Great basic room for a fantastic price in comparison to your other options."
