Welcome to Riddle’s Fishing Lodge and True North Events & Design! I’m Britt, the owner of this family-operated lodge on the banks of the Kenai River. We’ve been operating as a fishing lodge for over 35 years, and now we’re excited to offer our turnkey venue for weddings on weekends in June and the first two weekends in July.
Our wedding package includes everything you need for a magical celebration with up to 75 of your nearest and dearest, including white resin folding chairs, banquet tables, and a covered dance floor on the 25×25 ft deck overlooking the Kenai River. Plus, you’ll have access to our on-site amenities, including a covered riverfront barbecue area, a walk-in refrigerator and freezer, and propane heaters. And, with lodging for 18 people on-site for three nights, you can enjoy a weekend-long celebration with your loved ones.
Check-in is after 3 p.m. on Thursday, and check-out is 3 p.m. Sunday. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable, but if we can fill your date, we will refund your deposit, less banking fees. While we hope you choose to work with us for florals and planning, we understand that not all couples have the budget to do so. If you’d like to DIY your wedding or work with another planner, our we can recommend the vendors you will need to secure for items not included in our package.
The weekend rental price from Thursday-Sunday for June 2025 and early July 2025 weddings will be $12,000 plus sales tax. Please email Britt at riddlesfishing@gmail.com for more details on what these packages include.
If you’re looking for full planning services, floral design, event styling, and day-of coordination, Britt is also available for hire for these services on-site. All floral and design work pictured in this brochure are Britt’s work from past events. Floral budgets for 50-75 person events range from $2,500 to $5,000, depending on your design aesthetic and needs.
We believe in quality over quantity and only hold weddings on six weekends per season. We aim to make your wedding about your love and loved ones, so we don’t offer one-day packages. We hand-select every element that goes into our wedding packages with you in mind. We’re committed to ensuring your comfort and happiness throughout the planning process and on your special day.
