Best of Fall Fishing in Alaska
This trip is perfect for folks who enjoy fishing from the boat, rather than the bank, and want to enjoy the cooler fall fishing in Alaska. The leaves start to change mid-to-late August and the second run of Silver fishing is some of the best we have to offer. We can either separate your fishing with different days targeting silver salmon and trout, or we can create a custom package for you to fish a combo during the same day. Just let us know your preference for species targeting. Below is an example of a mid to late August and into September itinerary that is popular with our guests.
5 Fishing trips/ 6 Nights
3 Full-day Salmon trips on the Kenai or Kasilof Rivers for silver salmon
2 Full-day Trophy trout trips (catch and release)
Rate: $3,250 per person plus six percent sales tax
Guide gratuities, fishing licenses, and sales tax are not included. 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Guide gratuity guides can be found here.

Cancellation Policy:
Due to the nature of our business and the limited timeframe we operate during our season, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required within seven days of making a reservation to secure a fishing confirmation. Final payment is due March 1, 2026; participants are responsible for total costs, and no refund will be made unless a replacement is found. It is the responsibility of the guest to find their replacement. If we can fill your spot, we will try our best to do so, but it is not the lodge’s responsibility to ensure a substitute for your booking.
There will be no partial refunds for late arrivals or early departures. Riddle’s Fishing Lodge reserves the right to reschedule any trip during a stay that was delayed or canceled due to weather or any other scheduling conflicts. Riddle’s Fishing Lodge is not responsible for any emergency decision made by the Alaska department of fish and game or by acts of mother nature or Government decisions on your end or ours. If you do not believe you can meet your reservation obligation, we urge you to obtain travel or some other form of insurance.

As a small family company, we empathize with family challenges and personal transitions; we must also protect our livelihood and that of our employees. The best way to secure your funds and not have to worry about the ‘unexpecteds’ of life is to purchase travelers insurance.
Call (907) 394-1099 or email us for lodging-only rates. Lodging-only requests are considered on a case-by-case basis as our lodge focuses on lodging and fishing packages. But, if we can fit you into the schedule around other groups, we are not opposed to booking lodging only if it works with the calendar. If you’re looking for lodging only, it’s helpful if your dates are flexible if you’re looking to stay at a Kenai River lodge.
