“Another wonderful year of Alaska Fishing! We have been going to Alaska for 14 years in total, but the last 8 have been the best with Riddle’s Fishing Lodge. Kim and Ross have once again worked their magic of terrific fishing opportunities which this year included, Reds, Kings (this year they were catch and release only which was still a terrific experience), Silvers and Halibut (offshore). We had an awesome time catching fish and then relaxing in the evenings around the campfire. We highly recommend this experience to everyone! Thanks again to Kim and Ross!!!” Ken, Marie and Garry

“Fantastic! This is an ideal place to do the entire Kenai Peninsula. The fishing and the sites are marvelous. The owners and staff were fun. The bears showed up across the river just in time for sitting around the fire. Back to Montana for the feast and stories of a great adventure” –  Dennis O’Donnell – Montana

“We can absolutely recommend Riddle’s Fishing Lodge to anyone looking for an Alaskan fishing adventure. We have enjoyed several seasons at Riddle’s and always had huge success and limits most every day out. We have even extended our trips because they were just so much fun. Tommy Belknap, who introduced us to Riddle’s when we met him fishing in Idaho, is not only a fantastic guide but has also become a great friend, as have Ross and Kim. Tommy knows where the fish will be like no one we have ever seen. I cannot exaggerate just how wonderful the environment at this lodge is. You are made to feel welcome as if they have known you for years. The accommodations are very comfortable and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. They will also help set you up with other side trips in the bay for Halibut or upriver for trout. If you have ever dreamed about an Alaska salmon trip, this is the place you want to be. We will be heading back to Riddle’s for years to come.” Dave & Stefanie Whitman – Bakersfield, CA

“I Really appreciate you exposing your world and brand of fishing to me. I fish all over and having grown up in Oregon, I have to say your experience, patience, service, and family were all top-notch in my book. You put me on the two biggest Salmon I’ve Ever landed- 50 and 40lbs. Thanks for hanging in there w/ me and taking the extra time to get that 50lb hook up—it was an experience of a lifetime. I really like the fact you let me do my own hookups, pick my spin glow, bait, lead size, and tie my own knot— I really do appreciate it—too many times guides are grumpy and only want you to do it their way ” Scott O. Mohr

“Perfect getaway for the fishing vacation, The fishing has always been good on my trips and Kim and Ross have always been great host. The property sits on the Kenia River with a deck overlooking a wildlife viewing area. You never know what you will see next, bears, crazy fisherman, moose running from bears and always eagles. Kim will take care of the trips if you let, just tell her what you want to fish for. The Guides they use have always been great with me requesting them again for the next trip. The cabins are nice with all the conveniences you will need for a fishing getaway. Stores and restaurants close by for dining.” Phillip H – Rockport, Texas

“Just got back from a fishing trip in Alaska with my brother; a friend recommended that we stay at Riddle’s Fishing Lodge on the Kenai River just outside of Kenai. What a great recommendation, we loved it. Riddle’s sits above a stretch of the river that produces great King salmons and sockeyes (Reds) fishing. Ross Harding, who along with his wife Kim own Riddle’s, is a native Alaskan with a great personality and an excellent guide; Kim is a “do anything for you” kind of host (and great looking which never hurts). The fishing was great, but the hospitality was even better. Nothing like sitting on the deck overlooking the river watching fishermen across the river catching Reds, watching the seals play in the river, seeing an occasional bear come to the river for a meal or sitting around the evening fire sharing stories and friendship with their other (very interesting) guests and seeing an occasional caribou come walking around the house. Accommodations are very clean and comfortable. The bad part of staying at Riddle’s was that you never wanted to go to bed. They also arranged our halibut trip (caught a 75 pounder and saw a pod of orca), recommended other things to see and great places to eat. We will definitely try to get back to Riddle’s. Riddle’s is very popular and you need to book well in advance.” Don – Carmel, IN

“Bernie has dreamed of fishing in Alaska. Could not have found a better place to make that dream come true than Riddle’s. Ross & Kim were great, cabin was great with everything you needed. Fish cleaner Britt and fire starter Steven were also great. Had a great time, hope to be back soon and will recommend you to anyone we know that want to fish in Alaska!” Bernie & Pat Ranney – Columbus, Ohio

“We had four excellent days of fishing, Halibut, Rainbow, Dolly Varden & Silver Salmon. Kim, Ross, Britt & Steven looked after us so well making us feel so welcome and at ease. It as been for me, a keen fisherman the most memorable fishing trip of my life! Thanks for the wonderful visit.” Chris Peebles – San Diego, CA

“Thank you for making our family so Welcome, we felt at home! Great fishing & lots of laughs! We will see you again!” Don & Holly Langenfeld – Sandpoint, Idaho

“We have been fishing in Alaska since 2004, but got tipped off to Riddles during the summer of 2008. What a great experience staying there has been. They are like an extended family and takes all the hassle and guesswork out of arranging fishing trips. Kim uses the most experienced, expert guides on the river; everything that happens there is designed to accommodate their guests. We book a year ahead and everything is ready for us when we get there, all we have to do is catch the fish!!!” Susan A – Wyoming

“What an adventure to share time with my three sons and two son in-laws, in a paradise like you developed here at Riddle’s Lodge. Your friendly daily conversations and attention to all detail was exceptional. The way your family shares in the operation of the lodge is unique in this day and time. We will return here again. Thanks for all your help & hospitality.” Lloyd Lopez – Phoenix, AZ.
